Will Cotton
President
he/him
Will joined the Olalla Center Board in January 2020 and helped create the first annual Sea of Love Benefit for Olalla Center at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Will graduated from Central Michigan University in 2010 with a focus on education and English Language Learners. He found his way to Newport in 2013 helping run an energy assistance program for low-income households and now serves as the Volunteer Coordinator at the Oregon Coast Aquarium where he gets to live his dream of connecting humans and nature all day long. His other passions include talking to anyone within earshot about intertidal animals while out tide-pooling, cheesy puns and corny jokes (he's from the midwest after all), traditional fiddle music, and going out on salamander safaris.

Connie Sullivan
Secretary
they/them
Connie's two passions in life are the ocean and the equestrian world, and their specialty is creating community in both. Over the years, Connie has worked in science communication, most recently landing a spot with Oregon Sea Grant/Oregon State University Extension in Newport to work with recreational boaters on reducing their impacts to the aquatic environment. Connie can usually be found somewhere in or on the water, on a horse, or with their dog and cat. After surviving two strokes, Connie worked with Bright Horizons Therapeutic Riding Center's rehab program in 2022 and 2023. Given the wild success of that program in their life, Connie decided to join the Olalla Center's Board of Directors to give back to that program and to work with the many other amazing programs that the Olalla Center provides to communities.
