Outpatient Care Coordinator Abercrombie Gears Up to Tear Barriers Down

Sharon Abercrombie, QMHA, serves as Olalla Center Outpatient Care Coordinator. Through this role she works with staff and the nonprofit’s service population to identify barriers which impact their ability to achieve goals, and assists in making a plan to remove those barriers.

Abercrombie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from Southern Oregon University, a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Southern Oregon University, and a Graduate Certificate in Infant Toddler Mental Health from Portland State University.

Previous to Olalla Center she worked with Lincoln County Children’s Behavioral Health and Jackson County Children’s Mental Health.

Abercrombie chose to work at Olalla Center to balance time with family and work. She hopes to help other families realize their goals and drive their own care.

In her spare time Abercrombie enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, three cats, and is an avid reader and movie buff.

Olalla Center is seeking additional mental health professionals. Go to www.olallacenter.org (this webpage) under about/career tab for more information.
