We are just one month away from Sea of Love! This year, we are delighted to have our event hosted by the Oregon Coast Aquarium. For the entire evening, you'll have the whole aquarium to explore, from the touch tank all the way to the moon jellyfish, from the Sea Punk exhibit to the enchanting deep sea tunnels where you can watch sharks swim over your head and beneath your feet. As if all of that wasn't enticing enough, there will also be delicious, heavy appetizers and drinks, live music from Space Neighbors, dancing, and a silent auction. Free childcare will also be provided by our highly trained staff and volunteers. (Space is limited, so be sure to sign up early!)
If you are a longtime supporter of Olalla Center or have just recently heard about us, this event is a wonderful opportunity to talk with our program directors and learn about what's new! We have a range of programs and services, including some exciting new ones, such as our newest pilot program, Bravery Center for LGBTQ+ youth! We would love to chat with you while sharks, fish and rays swim lazily by. For the extra-curious, aquarium staff will also be there to tell you all about the fascinating (sometimes strange, sometimes charming) mating habits of different sea creatures.
